One day I may be in Error,
One day you may be the one who made an Error.
I expect, you will expect too that brethren will call you and correct you in Love and restore you.
We who are public figures will be held in more expectations no doubt, but you see this cancel culture we are bringing into the church? E go reach everybody one day.
It will cause more wounds than healing.
I watched clips from the streaming,
I wished it wasn’t streamed,
I wished it wasn’t posted,
A lot didn’t go down well.
Maybe for Ebuka this was a case of things turning out the way you didn’t envision, Just maybe.
But the comments, videos, posts and blastings I have seen is enough to slip anyone into depression.
This is the same young man who has released many songs that is shaking the kingdom of Darkness, strengthening peoples relationships with God, running to and fro the nations hosting worship crusades.
Hasnt this man done more Good for Jesus than this Error enough for us to at least be seasoned with our words in our correction?
Hasnt this man done so much for Jesus enough to have us intercede for Him that God may help him when we think he did something wrong?
Again, agreed that something’s didn’t go down well. But how many of us had “Interceding for Him as our first response”?
Or after setting up our ring lights to jump in on the matter to also trend, cash out from social media money, how many of us went back on our knees to say “God please help you servant Ebuka”?
How many?
How many really?
Many said “He is an entertainer, not a minister”
Many said they “They have never taken him seriously”
Many said “They will stop listening to His songs”
Justifiably so.
You have a right to how you vent your feelings.
But how many really prayed for Him?
You think the spotlight is easy?
If it was some of us in the spotlight we could have done worse.
Even people who are sleeping around secretly, masturbators, H*m*se**uals are writing all sorts to condemn this young man. Just because you don’t have a spotlight for us to see your own mess.
Again, it is true something’s didn’t go well.
But how many of us have prayed for this young man?
If you prayed for him before and after you spoke up. You are indeed a Christian. God bless you for doing it the Christian way.
But if you didn’t intercede for this young man before and after you blasted him you are a hypocrite. Your heart is wicked and unchristlike.
You know nothing of Love no matter how passionate you sounded with your opinion on the matter.
You need to go back to Jesus to heal your heart from self righteousness and hypocrisy.
We are Christians,
We are a people full of Love.
We don’t tear down our own.
When we find a fellow soldier in Error.
We go on our knees to call him to order spiritually.
We reach out to Him to criticize, counsel and strengthen Him to keep pursuing the right path and not be distracted.
It is what we do.
This cancel culture is not in our DNA.
